CORP REGULATIONS

ACTIVITY

____________________

SOUSN aims to be a social group, with community at its core. We’re only interested in retaining players that actually demonstrate their willingness to be part of a group.

One of our requirements to join is a working mic – we’d prefer for you to join comms in Discord whenever you’re out in space, but failing that we expect to hear from you at least every so often – once per month is the absolute minimum that we ask you to jump into comms with us.

If we don’t see you join comms at least once for 30 days (this is tracked automatically), your Discord status will change to “30D”, your name will turn green, and you’ll also see a new channel with a warning message.

We will reach out at least once before ejecting you – your wellbeing is our primary concern, especially if you suddenly drop off the face of the Earth.

Life obviously happens to us all, and we’re always willing to make allowances when you need to take an extended break from the game, provided you communicate this to us; we will keep the door open as long as possible, but please understand we must keep our activity levels accurate vs what’s shown in the game, and we use comms activity as a way to maintain this. If you find yourself ejected from SOUSN in-game, and, assuming your departure from us was amicable (i.e. you weren’t a little shit and got booted), then the door will always open should you wish to rejoin.

TAX

____________________

Bounties and ESS payments are taxed at 10%.

LP is taxed at 5%.

Ore anomalies are taxed at 4%.

Gas anomalies are taxed at 4%.

Mining tax is paid with ISK.

Taxes are managed by Jerry. You will be issued a bill via contract to your main character, due within 7 days of the contract date.

You will not be charged corp mining tax during your first calendar month after joining the corp. This does not apply to alliance or coalition moons.

If you wish to mine in hisec, lowsec, wormholes, or Pochven, it is recommended to do so on an out-of-corp toon, as South Sun Industries characters may still be taxed there despite those areas not being in Brave space.

Ice is not taxed as an incentive for members to mine their own fuel. Hisec ores are also not taxed.

If you are unable to pay your mining tax for any reason, or have any tax-related queries, please contact Jerry via Discord DM.

OuT-OF-CORP TOONS

____________________

While out-of-corp alts are permitted, certain restrictions apply.

You may not own a toon in an enemy faction corp or alliance. Enemy factions are determined at the discretion of corp and alliance leadership. This will result in a rejected application or, if discovered later, immediate removal from the corp and full blacklisting from the alliance and coalition. There are no exceptions to this rule.

You may not own a toon in a non-SOUSN affiliated corp, including other corps in Brave Collective or Brave United, that is run by or inhabited by other players. Before joining the corp, you will be asked to leave any such corps. If discovered later, you will be asked to leave them, and failure to do so in a timely manner may result in removal from the corp. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

You may create and add hauling or trade alts to South Sun Logistics, a member of Brave’s highsec alliance, Brave United. Your main toon must remain a member of South Sun Industries. All toons must be authenticated via ESI at corp, alliance, and coalition level.

Toons in NPC corps are permitted and are not subject to special conditions, but they must still be authenticated. These toons are considered neutral and may be shot on sight if they enter our space.

Out-of-corp toons may not mine moons or ore anomalies, rat, or engage in any taxable activity within our nullsec space, due to how tax is calculated. This includes toons in South Sun Logistics. If you wish to mine our moons, anomalies, or krab, that toon must join South Sun Industries instead.

South Sun Logistics toons may still mine in highsec, including Brave highsec moons, as well as lowsec, wormholes, or Pochven. In short, anywhere outside nullsec space.

SOUSL toons are permitted in our space as haulers, scouts, explorers, or PvP characters, and may also sign up for Faction Warfare.

areas of operation

____________________

We are often war-decced by various groups, which means highsec is not safe to travel through during these times, particularly around Jita and the major trade hubs. You should use an out-of-corp alt in a non-war-deccable corp to travel safely through highsec.

You may mine, rat, and explore in all systems across all Imperium-held space, provided you follow the standard Imperium rules.

Code of Conduct

____________________

Our code of conduct is very simple – to remember that every member of this corp is a human being, and to treat others the way you’d wish to be treated. We don’t have any bans against social or political discussions, provided it’s kept respectful and tactful – it’s important to read the room essentially.

If you really love to debate politics/social issues and find others in the corp that do, try to have those discussions in private, away from the main channels – always remember that we all come from the same, global family of humanity, and that Eve is nothing more than a game.
